THE PUPPIES

On Sunday March 04, 2012, I was gifted with two puppies on the farm. Two new additions to the existing animals there - Raju and Rani.

Do not know what breed they are, but are cute, cuddly and very lovable.

Fast Forward to 2011

December 2010 : Farmhouse nearing completion - 18th December our very first stay at our farm. Thanks to Arvind Saxena!


More animals (goats, sheep and turkeys) entered the farm on 27th Jan 2011


and the birth of a bull calf on Feb 17, 2011

Some trees and plants were added - Anjir(Fig), Ranbhutan, Egg Fruit, Avacado, Dragon Fruit, Chandan, Rudraksha, Bhut Jolokia Chilli (Worlds Hotest), Pineapple, Red Jhamb, Hazari Limbu, Oval limbu, Olive, Moroccan Orange, Reetha, Sagargota

Finally getting a substantial quantity of fruits - Peru, Mango, Ramfal, Sitafal, Kaju, Kokum, Chincha, Awla, Jambul, Mulberry, Coconut, Papaya, Limbu, Passion fruit, Chickoo, Jhamb, Banana, Jackfruit, Cape Gooseberry, 

and a variety of vegetables - Dudhi, Padwal, Karla, Bhopala, Kantavli, Shirali, Ghosali, Maath, Palak, Methi, Shepu, Tondli, Kakadi, Mirchi, Gavar, Bhendi, Ghewada, Shewga, Maka (Corn), Pudina, Coriander, Kadipatta, Tamalpatra, Ginger, Haldi, Galangal (Thai ginger), Moola, Kobi, Salad, Beetroot, Red Moola, Navalkol, Chawli beans, Tur, Vangi, Karande, Alu(Arbi), Konfal, Suran,

Limited and first time - Watermelon, Black pepper, Dalchini

Failures - Farasbi, Tomato, Garlic

New entrants - Vatana, Papdi, Aloe Vera,  Koizode (like konfal from Sikkim), few new local roots and  veggies.

Other developments - Selling of chicken, chicken eggs, turkey eggs and Emu eggs, Vermiculture expansion, water conservation, borewell recharging, garden development - flowers and hanging baskets and lots of parties.

As of today, busy with vegetable planting.
