THE PUPPIES

On Sunday March 04, 2012, I was gifted with two puppies on the farm. Two new additions to the existing animals there - Raju and Rani.

Do not know what breed they are, but are cute, cuddly and very lovable.

AMATEUR ASTRONOMY

Amateur Astronomy, also called backyard astronomy or star gazing is the new hobby at the farm. Using a BK 150mm Maksutov Cassegrain (150mm/1800mm) OTAW telescope. The first assembly and visions were seen on February 16, 2012.

Water Harvesting

I have 6 dry borewells, unsuccessful attempts of trying to tap underground water. I am now using 4 of these borewells for water harvesting. I have built a tank around them and introduced water plants, turtles and fishes into them. During the rain they overflow into the borewell. Also two of them near the house are used to harvest the water that falls on the terrace too.
